Flower Making
Seeking a skilled individual for our team to learn and master the art of artificial flower making from start to finish.
Responsibilities include:
Starching Fabric- Learning the various techniques and "recipes" for starching fabric depending on the given material. This gives the flower the firmness and durability to hold shape.
Fabric Dye Cutting- Learning use of not only our pressing machines, but gaining the knowledge and recognition of hundreds of dye cut tools.
Pressing- Learning the skill of using our embossing machines to add the specific requested flower details to each petal. This also teaches the knowledge of hundreds of molds. This process combines heat with pressure, and involves learning how to set the machine levels to achieve optimal results.
The Art and Craftmanship of Constructing Flowers- This will be the main focus of the apprenticeship. Learning how to construct each individual flower using the petals created by all the steps listed above. Since every flower has a different combination of petals and techniques to achieve different shapes, this is a very hands-on process that involves plenty of focus, creativity, and dexterity.
The role involves collaborating with our design team, understanding our client's requests, and contributing to a legacy of quality and craftsmanship.
